Medical Representative

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid support and make referrals to outside medical providers as necessary
• Minimize injury risk through awareness, education, and proactive engagement with associates
• Maintain all records of care provided and manage daily activity logs
• Coordinate and maintain workers’ compensation and return to work programs
• Engage with leadership and associates on the operations floor to coach on at-risk work habits
• Maintain medical supply inventory and a clean working environment
• Participate in training and facilitate first aid, CPR, and AED certification classes
• Assist with emergency response and random saliva drug testing protocols

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider
• Current valid Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic Certification (DOH or NREMT) OR current active Athletic Trainer Certification (BOC or equivalent)
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, nights, holidays, and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified to teach first aid, CPR, and AED training (AHA or Red Cross)
• Experience with industrial wellness programs or managing musculoskeletal disorders
• Demonstrated experience with OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital recordkeeping
• Military medical experience (e.g., Combat Medic, Hospital Corpsman, or Aerospace Medical Service Technician)
