Responsibilities

• Manage data integrity activities related to registration and chart abstraction of historical clinical data
• Update and review medical records by reconciling information and notifying providers of discrepancies
• Record member medical information including allergies, history, and classification codes for diagnoses and treatments
• Organize patient information in EHR by scanning, labeling, and routing clinical documents
• Assist in the collection and filing of medical records from external and internal healthcare systems
• Troubleshoot inaccuracies and discrepancies regarding medical records
• Keep medical records organized, accessible, and secure
• Collaborate with Atria Teams to answer inquiries related to forms, medical records, and storage systems
• Provide administrative support as assigned by leadership

Requirements

• Associate Degree
• 2+ years of experience with healthcare system medical records
• Proficiency using EHRs, email, and internet searches
• Strong multitasking and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Medical assistant training or certification
• Nursing training or certification
