Medical Records Analyst

Responsibilities

• Manage data integrity activities related to registration and chart abstraction of historical clinical data
• Update and review medical records by reconciling information and notifying providers of discrepancies
• Record member medical information including allergies, history, diagnosis codes, and treatments
• Organize patient information in EHR by scanning, labeling, and routing clinical documents
• Assist in the collection and filing of medical records from external and internal healthcare systems
• Troubleshoot inaccuracies in medical records and request additional information when necessary
• Collaborate with Atria teams to respond to inquiries regarding forms, records, and storage systems
• Provide administrative support and complete related tasks as assigned by leadership

Requirements

• Associate Degree
• 2+ years of experience with healthcare system medical records
• Proficiency using EHRs, email, and internet searches
• Strong multitasking skills across various software platforms
• Effective phone and direct communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional medical assistant or nursing training/certification
