Responsibilities
- Manage data integrity activities related to registration and chart abstraction of historical clinical data
- Update and review medical records by reconciling information and notifying providers of discrepancies
- Record member medical information including allergies, history, diagnosis codes, and treatments
- Organize patient information in EHR by scanning, labeling, and routing clinical documents
- Assist in the collection and filing of medical records from external and internal systems
- Troubleshoot inaccuracies and discrepancies regarding medical records
- Keep medical records organized, accessible, and secure
- Collaborate with Atria Teams to answer inquiries related to forms and medical records
Requirements
- Associate Degree
- 2+ years of experience with health care system medical records
- Proficiency using EHRs, email, and internet searches
- Strong multitasking and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Medical assistant training or certification
- Nursing training or certification
