Medical Record Technician

Responsibilities

• Arrange patient medical record files according to a predetermined structure
• Classify disease diagnoses based on ICD-10 and surgical procedures based on ICD-9CM
• Input diagnosis codes and medical actions into the Hospital information system or INA CBG's application
• Ensure completeness of forms for quantitative analysis of medical records
• Process statistical data from outpatient and inpatient records for various reports
• Check completeness of primary data before, during, and after treatment
• Implement quality and safety service procedures and attend required training

Requirements

• Diploma (D3) Degree in Medical Records and Health Information
• Experience with EHR systems and data entry
• Strong attention to detail for accurate record maintenance
• Excellent organizational skills for managing large volumes of records
• Ability to handle sensitive patient information with discretion and confidentiality
