Medical Record Technician

Responsibilities

• Compile medical record files and perform coding of disease diagnoses and medical procedures
• Arrange patient medical record files according to predetermined structures
• Classify disease diagnoses using ICD-10 and surgical procedures using ICD-9CM
• Input diagnosis codes and medical actions into the Hospital information system and INA CBG's application
• Ensure completeness of forms for quantitative analysis of medical records
• Process statistical data from outpatient and inpatient records for daily, monthly, and annual reports
• Check completeness of primary data before, during, and after treatment
• Implement quality and safety service procedures and attend required training

Requirements

• Diploma (D3) Degree in Medical Records and Health Information
• Experience with EHR systems, data entry, and maintaining patient records
• Strong attention to detail for accurate data entry
• Excellent organizational skills for managing large volumes of records
• Ability to handle sensitive patient information with discretion and confidentiality
