About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service during every patient encounter in person or via phone
- Answer internal and external phone calls with prompt and courteous service
- Manage patient flow and facilitate smooth check-in/out experiences
- Verify medical and vision insurance coverage
- Collect payments and manage knowledge of common visit fees
- Complete daily reconciliations and cash drawer countdowns
- Perform general office duties and cleaning as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- One year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to pass a background check
- Reliable transportation for potential travel to multiple locations
- Ability to work full-time hours including occasional late nights
