About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform Interventional Radiology procedures using advanced systems and equipment
- Provide exceptional care to patients, families, and caregivers
- Communicate effectively with inter-professional and multi-disciplinary teams
- Work accurately and safely in a fast-paced, high patient volume setting
- Participate in professional development, teaching, and mentoring activities
- Coordinate daily work schedules and prioritize emergency cases
Requirements
- CMRITO registration
- Completion of a BCLS program, Level II: Basic Rescuer certification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- CAMRT registration
- Related technologist experience in a hospital environment
- Current enrollment in or completion of the CAMRT Interventional Radiology Specialty certificate program
