Medical Radiation Technologist, Interventional Radiology

Responsibilities

• Perform Interventional Radiology procedures using advanced systems and equipment
• Provide exceptional care to patients, families, and caregivers
• Communicate effectively with inter-professional and multi-disciplinary teams
• Work accurately and safely in a fast-paced, high patient volume setting
• Participate in professional development, teaching, and mentoring activities
• Coordinate daily work schedules and prioritize emergency cases

Requirements

• CMRITO registration
• Completion of a BCLS program, Level II: Basic Rescuer certification
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CAMRT registration
• Related technologist experience in a hospital environment
• Current enrollment in or completion of the CAMRT Interventional Radiology Specialty certificate program
