Medical Radiation Technologist

Responsibilities

• Produce CT and x-ray images of the highest diagnostic quality
• Provide exemplary patient care for Emergency Department, Unit and Out Patients
• Prepare written and electronic reports to document procedures and test results
• Organize and prioritize workflow
• Collaborate with patient care units, physicians, and other imaging modalities
• Participate in QC and QA programs
• Operate and troubleshoot medical imaging and ancillary equipment
• Contribute to teaching, training, and quality improvement programs
• Adhere to organizational policies and maintain patient confidentiality

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved training program in Radiography
• Current registration and good standing with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO)
• Knowledge and skills aligned with CMRTO Essential Competencies
• Ability to organize work, set priorities, and manage time effectively
• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position
• Ability to handle stress and conflict management professionally

Preferred Qualifications

• CT training preferred
• CT Imaging courses preferred
