Medical Radiation Technologist, General Radiography X-Ray

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiography procedures in multiple settings using advanced systems and equipment
• Provide exceptional care to patients, families, and caregivers
• Communicate effectively with inter-professional and multi-disciplinary teams
• Work accurately and safely in a fast-paced, high patient volume setting
• Participate in professional development, teaching, and mentoring activities
• Fulfill on-call requirements and coordinate daily work schedules

Requirements

• CMRITO registration
• Completion of a BCLS program (Level II: Basic Rescuer certification)
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CAMRT certification with current membership
• Related technologist experience in a hospital environment
