Medical Plan Configuration Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze plan documents to accurately build and maintain group set-up in the Qiclink System
• Code self-funded and fully insured groups and update coding for all plan changes
• Set up and maintain HRA processing plans and prescription accumulator programs
• Audit completed tasks and create group documentation to ensure correct claims processing
• Utilize Excel spreadsheets and Access databases to complete tasks efficiently
• Coordinate with account management staff to ensure complex benefit levels are accurately coded
• Test and provide documentation for system upgrades
• Adhere to all privacy and security laws, including HIPAA and HITECH

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of comprehensive experience coding medical, dental, and vision plans
• 3+ years of experience using the Qiclink system
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 terminology
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with or ability to learn Microsoft Access
