Medical Oncologist

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patients with malignancies using clinical evaluations and diagnostic testing
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies
• Monitor treatment efficacy and manage side effects, adjusting care plans as necessary
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor board meetings to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on disease, treatment options, and prognosis
• Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to oncology research initiatives
• Ensure meticulous documentation of treatments, outcomes, and patient records in compliance with regulatory standards

Requirements

• Medical degree (M.D. or equivalent) from an accredited institution
• Completion of residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Medical Oncology
• Board certification in Medical Oncology is mandatory
• Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in oncology practice
• Proficient knowledge of current cancer therapies and clinical trial protocols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support patient care and team collaboration
• Active and valid medical license to practice in the applicable region
• Fluency in English
