Medical Officer

Responsibilities

• Conduct OPD consultations, including patient history taking, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Provide primary medical care for acute and chronic conditions
• Prescribe medications and recommend diagnostic tests as required
• Maintain accurate and timely patient medical records
• Educate patients on preventive healthcare, treatment plans, and follow-ups
• Coordinate with clinic staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, medical ethics, and regulatory guidelines
• Handle basic medical emergencies until referral if required

Requirements

• MBBS from an Indian medical institute
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience post-MBBS
• Mandatory prior OPD experience
• Fluency in Kannada is mandatory
• Must reside within 5–6 km of the assigned clinic or be willing to relocate
