Medical Manager Oncology

Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of the affiliate management team with direct participation in governance meetings.
• Provide technical leadership for product strategies, ensuring the medical function is represented across divisional teams.
• Offer Medical Affairs guidance to support marketing strategies for Abbott products.
• Develop communication processes that translate technical-scientific language into consistent, safe, and risk-controlled marketing information.
• Support cross-functional areas including Marketing, Market Access, Sales, Training, Medical Research, Data Generation, Pharmacovigilance, and Regulatory Affairs.

Requirements

• University degree in Medicine.
• Postgraduate degree or Master's degree.
• 5 years of experience in Medical Affairs or medical practice, preferably in Oncology.
• Strong understanding of Medical Affairs operations and cross-functional collaboration.
• Knowledge of medical studies, inspection preparation, and communication channels.
• Fluency in English (both written and oral).
• Willingness to travel.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and supervisory skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional training in epidemiology.
• Knowledge or experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) applied to healthcare.
• Ability to capture, analyze, and implement medical and market insights for strategic decision-making.
• Familiarity with digital tools and data analysis platforms (e.g., dashboards, big data, machine learning).
• Capability to interpret scientific evidence and generate medical content aligned with international standards.
