Law degree from accredited law school, Active CA State Bar membership, 5+ years medical malpractice experience, High volume case management skills
About the role
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day handling of medical malpractice cases from intake through resolution, including trial
- Drafting and filing of litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests, responses, demands, motions and memorandum
- Guiding clients through the case process
- Interacting with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits
- Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, court appearances, and trial
Requirements
- Law degree from a fully accredited law school
- Active member in good standing with the CA State Bar Association
- Minimum 5+ years of medical malpractice experience, preferably Plaintiff
- Ability to manage high volume
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
