About the role

Responsibilities

  • Act as a scientific liaison between Novo Nordisk and healthcare providers to facilitate scientific exchange.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), physicians, and academic institutions.
  • Educate healthcare professionals on the clinical benefits and outcomes of NNI products.
  • Coordinate educational workshops, round tables, and medical forums.
  • Support clinical trials by identifying potential sites and facilitating study coordination and investigator support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing, Sales, and HEOR, to optimize scientific strategies.
  • Manage regional business activities, including budget expenditures and reporting via VEEVA and Concur.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in a relevant scientific or medical field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare system, pharmaceutical company, or managed care environment.
  • Strong scientific and clinical background with high business acumen.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel overnight frequently (50-75% travel).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in diabetes, obesity, or liver health therapeutic areas.
  • Relevant clinical or therapeutic expertise.
  • Experience with formulary process decisions.
