Medical Laboratory Technologist, Pathology

Responsibilities

• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain the cleanliness of laboratory equipment and work areas
• Prepare written and electronic reports to document procedures and test results
• Participate in teaching, educational, safety, and quality improvement programs
• Adhere to hospital and departmental policies, procedures, and patient confidentiality standards

Requirements

• Completion of a recognized Medical Laboratory Technologist program
• Current registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists (CMLTO)
• Minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience in Histology
• Minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience in Immunohistochemistry
• Strong computer literacy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving, time management, and communication skills
