Medical Laboratory Technologist

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing in the Core Laboratory, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Analyze and validate laboratory results in accordance with established procedures and quality standards
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and analyzers
• Ensure compliance with DOH/DHA regulations, accreditation requirements, and laboratory policies
• Participate in quality control, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Accurately document and report test results using the Laboratory Information System (LIS)
• Support inventory management and ensure the availability of laboratory supplies
• Collaborate effectively with laboratory staff, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, Biomedical Science, or a related field
• Valid DOH or DHA license as a Medical Laboratory Technologist
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory, preferably within a Core Laboratory environment
• Hands-on experience in Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology, and/or Coagulation
• Strong knowledge of laboratory quality standards, quality control procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Proficiency in Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and Microsoft Office applications
