Medical Laboratory Technician/Hematology

Responsibilities

• Perform and document analytical hematology procedures in accordance with standard operating procedures and regulatory guidelines
• Review routine data to confirm analytical procedures are performing as expected and results are within acceptable tolerances
• Identify unusual results or performance issues and escalate to senior laboratory personnel
• Prepare data analysis results for upload into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
• Perform calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment as assigned
• Support quality investigations, deviations, and procedural updates
• Guide entry-level staff on routine procedures and support onboarding activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 6 months of experience in a regulated laboratory environment
• Working knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and applicable regulatory standards
• Proficiency with laboratory techniques, automation, or specialized laboratory equipment
• Proficiency with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Ability to perform laboratory calculations, including averages, means, and standard deviations
