Medical Information Specialist

Responsibilities

• Respond to medical information inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients, and payers using evidence-based, nonpromotional information
• Identify, research, and critically evaluate medical literature to create high-quality responses
• Handle requests across multiple channels including phone, email, CRM, and chat
• Identify and document adverse events and product complaints in compliance with FDA regulations and standard operating procedures
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs regarding product quality-related complaints
• Assist in medical writing for FAQs, Scientific Response Documents (SRDs), and Custom Response Documents (CRDs)
• Support scientific medical affairs booths and participate in on-call responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• Advanced healthcare degree (PharmD preferred)
• Strong clinical background
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to critically evaluate medical literature

Preferred Qualifications

• Pharmacist license
• Experience in a pharmaceutical industry or Contact Center environment
• Therapeutic expertise in areas such as Oncology, Hematology, Immunology, Neurology, or Cardiology
• Proficiency with telephony, Medical Information databases, and Microsoft Office
• Experience in Drug Information or specialty therapeutic areas
