Medical Information Representative

Responsibilities

• Respond to unsolicited medical information inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients, and payers via phone, email, CRM, and chat.
• Research and critically evaluate medical literature to provide scientifically balanced, evidence-based, and non-promotional responses.
• Identify, document, and report adverse events and product quality complaints in compliance with FDA regulations and standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs departments to support product quality-related complaint processes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical products, therapeutic areas, and client-specific requirements.
• Support scientific medical affairs booths and participate in on-call responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in Nursing or a related healthcare discipline (e.g., allied health, clinical sciences).
• Strong clinical and healthcare background with the ability to interpret and communicate complex medical information.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a medical contact center.
• Direct clinical or patient-facing healthcare experience.
• Proficiency in medical information databases, telephony systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Therapeutic expertise in specialties such as Oncology, Hematology, Immunology, Neurology, or Cardiology.
