Medical Information Representative

Responsibilities

• Respond to unsolicited medical information inquiries from healthcare professionals, consumers, and payers
• Research and evaluate medical literature to create evidence-based responses
• Identify and accurately document adverse events and product complaints
• Perform intake and generate reports in compliance with standard operating procedures
• Handle requests across multiple channels including phone, email, CRM, and chat
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs regarding product quality complaints
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and therapeutic areas
• Support scientific medical affairs booths and participate in on-call rotations

Requirements

• Associate, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in Nursing or a related healthcare discipline
• Strong clinical and healthcare background
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced healthcare degree or higher
• Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent licensure
• Minimum 2 years of experience in medical, healthcare, or pharmaceutical industry
• Direct clinical or patient-facing healthcare experience
• Experience in a Contact Center environment
• Proficiency in telephony, Medical Information databases, and Microsoft Office
• Expertise in therapeutic areas such as Oncology, Hematology, Immunology, or Neurology
