Medical Equipment and Asset Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain asset management systems, plans, and registers to ensure data is accurate and audit-ready
• Ensure asset management reporting requirements are met according to contractual obligations
• Support the rollout of asset strategies, policies, and procedures, including conducting annual stock takes
• Assist with lifecycle planning, condition assessments, data analysis, and capital planning inputs
• Contribute to capital expenditure requests, business cases, and project documentation
• Ensure all assets comply with relevant standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate electrical testing and tagging of non-medical equipment
• Monitor compliance, identify risks, and implement necessary corrective actions
• Support infection control by ensuring equipment is properly maintained and serviced
• Act as the primary point of contact for asset-related queries and stakeholder support

Requirements

• Experience in asset or equipment management, ideally within a healthcare environment
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse clinical and operational stakeholders
• High level of attention to detail regarding data, reporting, and compliance
• Qualification in Asset or Facilities Management, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
• Familiarity with asset management frameworks such as ISO 55000
• Exposure to procurement and contract management
