About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and maintain asset management systems, plans, and registers to ensure data is accurate and audit-ready
- Ensure asset management reporting requirements are met according to contractual obligations
- Support the rollout of asset strategies, policies, and procedures, including conducting annual stock takes
- Assist with lifecycle planning, condition assessments, data analysis, and capital planning inputs
- Contribute to capital expenditure requests, business cases, and project documentation
- Ensure all assets comply with relevant standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate electrical testing and tagging of non-medical equipment
- Monitor compliance, identify risks, and implement necessary corrective actions
- Support infection control by ensuring equipment is properly maintained and serviced
- Act as the primary point of contact for asset-related queries and stakeholder support
Requirements
- Experience in asset or equipment management, ideally within a healthcare environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse clinical and operational stakeholders
- High level of attention to detail regarding data, reporting, and compliance
- Qualification in Asset or Facilities Management, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
- Familiarity with asset management frameworks such as ISO 55000
- Exposure to procurement and contract management
