About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison for students, faculty, residents, and administration regarding medical course and clerkship activities.
- Organize course and clerkship activities at affiliated sites through regular communication with site directors and coordinators.
- Provide administrative support to the course/clerkship director, including drafting policies and preparing instructional materials.
- Manage student grading systems and databases, ensuring accuracy in collecting and submitting final grades.
- Coordinate and schedule online exams and OSCEs, including proctoring duties.
- Maintain student files, monitor student logs for completeness, and ensure the integrity of the faculty evaluation process.
- Prepare various reports, such as annual surveys and LCME self-study documentation.
- Assist with course orientations and maintain departmental websites.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree or equivalent training acquired via work experience or education.
- 1-5 years of related professional experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle stressful situations calmly and courteously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Business, or a related field.
- Previous experience working in a higher education environment.
