About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead copy editing efforts for multiple brands
- Copyedit, fact-check, and proofread promotional and educational materials for healthcare professionals and patients
- Ensure accuracy, utility, clarity, and readability of print and digital materials from manuscript through production
- Collaborate with Account Services, Copywriters, and Art Directors to maintain high-quality standards
- Coordinate with Project Managers regarding quality control timing
- Provide guidance to less experienced copy editors
- Assist teams with research and article retrieval
- Create and maintain brand style guides
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-5 years of copyediting experience
- Working knowledge of AMA Manual of Style
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in pharmaceutical advertising, in-house agencies, or medical publishing
- Proficiency using Adobe Acrobat for copyediting
- Experience working in Veeva
