Medical Director/Study Physician

Responsibilities

• Provide medical expertise and oversight throughout the preparation, conduct, and reporting phases of clinical trials.
• Ensure timely preparation of high-quality clinical trial protocols to minimize amendments.
• Contribute to trial risk-based quality management by defining medically relevant data and risks.
• Co-author Clinical Quality Monitoring plans.
• Perform ongoing reviews of medical data to ensure trial integrity.
• Act as a core member of the trial team, providing medical guidance from the Trial Design Outline to the final Clinical Trial Report.

Requirements

• Physician (MD) degree, ideally with a medical thesis.
• Minimum of 4 years of active clinical practice experience.
• Strong understanding of relevant regulations and guidance, including ICH-GCP.
• Medical expertise in clinical trial design.
• Specialization in Pulmonology, Immunology, Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Rheumatology, or Emergency Medicine is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Medical Monitor.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a CRO within medical, project management, or global pharmacovigilance functions.
• Experience in Clinical Development.
• Proficiency with data visualization systems and IT systems.
