Medical Director - Veterinarian

Responsibilities

• Lead a veterinary team to deliver high-quality, client-focused services
• Oversee daily operations, quality of care, and client experience
• Promote preventive care and ensure compliance with veterinary standards
• Guide and mentor associate veterinarians and support staff
• Collaborate with the Center Director on hiring, training, and scheduling
• Participate in planning, budgeting, and financial performance reviews

Requirements

• Veterinary medical degree
• Valid license in good standing with the applicable state board
• Minimum 4-5 years of clinical experience
• Demonstrated leadership experience
• Interest in practice ownership
• Fear Free and HABRI certification (or desire to obtain)

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong business acumen and financial insights
• Experience building and retaining a loyal client base
• Proficiency in leveraging technology for telemedicine and client communication
