About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical expertise to the Physician Assistant Studies program to ensure medical accuracy of the curriculum.
  • Assist the Program Director in ensuring curriculum, clinical training, and student assessment methods meet ARC-PA accreditation standards.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify, develop, and evaluate clinical sites and partnerships.
  • Provide guidance on clinical site quality, preceptor qualifications, and the development of clinical policies.
  • Support accreditation compliance through participation in program evaluation and Self-Study Report (SSR) reviews.
  • Participate in continuous program assessment and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as an advocate for the program within the medical and academic communities.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree.
  • Currently or previously licensed Physician Assistant (PA) or osteopathic or allopathic physician.
  • Currently or previously board-certified.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and public speaking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Five (5) years of clinical experience.
  • Deep knowledge of the PA role and experience with the PA scope of practice.
