Medical Director- Neurology

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Global or Regional Medical Advisor and Scientific Advisor on assigned neurology projects.
• Provide medical support to investigative sites regarding protocol clarifications, patient safety, and eligibility.
• Perform medical reviews of protocols, Investigative Drug Brochures (IDB), Case Report Forms (CRFs), and Clinical Study Reports (CSR).
• Review and clarify trial-related Adverse Events (AEs) and potentially perform medical case reviews of Serious Adverse Events (SAEs).
• Provide therapeutic area training to project clinical teams and attend Investigator Meetings.
• Support business development by providing medical expertise for client proposals and participating in bid defense meetings.
• Advise on the development of medically sound delivery strategies for complex multi-region studies.

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited and internationally recognized medical school.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical medicine.
• Specialty board certification in Neurology.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, and clients.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical trials experience as an investigator or medical/clinical expert within the Pharma, CRO, or Biotech industry.
• Robust and current knowledge of the scientific, clinical, regulatory, and competitive landscape in neurology.
