Medical Director: Interventional Pain & Spine

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for the Interventional Pain & Spine Center.
• Oversee patient care delivery across a full spectrum of services, including medication management, image-guided spine interventions, and neuromodulation.
• Partner with Department Chairs to expand outpatient clinics, procedural locations, and regional service lines.
• Build multidisciplinary partnerships with Oncology, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, and other specialty departments to create coordinated care models.
• Lead the development of a Multidisciplinary Pain Fellowship Program and support faculty engagement in trainee education.
• Drive operational excellence by overseeing quality, safety, patient experience, and provider recruitment.

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MD/DO) from an accredited school.
• Completion of an accredited Pain Fellowship.
• Board Certification and a valid medical license.
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaborative skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis, decision-making, and healthcare quality metrics.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5-10 years of clinical experience.
• 3+ years of clinical leadership experience.
