About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide full-scope, patient-centered outpatient OB/GYN care across the lifespan
- Serve as Medical Director, providing clinical leadership and oversight within an integrated, team-based care model
- Support Certified Nurse Midwives as physician backup and co-manage cases
- Develop and review clinical policies, protocols, and patient education materials
- Partner with Practice leadership on clinical operations including admission and discharge processes
- Participate in regulatory compliance, accreditation activities, and quality improvement programs
- Provide clinical education and professional development to the team
- Participate in agreed 24-hour call shifts as part of the laborist service
- Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation
Requirements
- Board certified or eligible in obstetrics / gynecology
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Trained in robotics
- Active DEA license
- Licensed to practice in Tennessee upon start date
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience
