Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope, patient-centered outpatient OB/GYN care across the lifespan
• Serve as Medical Director, providing clinical leadership and oversight within an integrated, team-based care model
• Support Certified Nurse Midwives as needed, serving as physician backup and co-managing cases
• Develop, implement, and review clinical policies, protocols, and patient education materials
• Partner with Practice leadership on clinical operations including admission, transfer, and discharge processes
• Participate in regulatory compliance, accreditation activities, and Continuous Quality Improvement programs
• Participate in agreed 24-hour call shifts as part of the laborist service
• Ensure timely, accurate clinical documentation and patient communications

Requirements

• Board certified or eligible in obstetrics / gynecology
• Demonstrated leadership experience
• Trained in robotics
• Active DEA license
• Licensed to practice in Texas upon start date
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative OB/CNM practice

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience
