Medical Director

Responsibilities

• Lead a collaborative team of veterinary professionals in a busy small animal general practice
• Oversee medical operations for Washington County Veterinary Hospital and South County Veterinary Hospital
• Provide high-quality patient care across a diverse caseload, including wellness, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine
• Foster a mentorship-driven and client-focused culture within the clinic
• Maintain strong communication with staff and clients to build lasting relationships

Requirements

• Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Rhode Island (or willingness to obtain licensure)
• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment
