Medical Device Project Manager

About the Company

GMED is a French notified body designated under Regulations (EU) 2017/745 and (EU) 2017/746 for the conformity assessment of medical devices. We are an international reference for the certification of quality management systems (QMS) for medical device manufacturers.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the recruitment of future conformity evaluators by analyzing their skills and academic backgrounds
• Define and deploy qualification pathways and internal training plans
• Collaborate with department heads, training centers, and planning services to organize training and qualification committees
• Interact with employees undergoing qualification to ensure a fluid process
• Identify risks to the qualification plan and implement mitigation actions
• Finalize qualification files once all steps are validated
• Propose new methods and tools to improve the qualification process

Requirements

• Master's degree (BAC+5) in a scientific field (chemistry, biology, materials, mechanics, electronics, or computer science)
• Initial experience in the medical device industry (manufacturer, distributor, research lab, etc.)
• Understanding of medical devices (R&D, design, manufacturing, or quality/regulatory experience)
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage emergencies and work proactively
• Proficiency in English (conversational level)
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a plus
