Medical Call Center Agent

Responsibilities

• Provide support to medical offices by answering high-volume inbound calls from physicians
• Schedule appointments and respond to patient inquiries
• Monitor and respond to emails and relay messages to appropriate team members
• Accurately document and process communications within the electronic medical record system
• Meet performance goals, including a target of approximately 64 calls per day

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• 1+ years of customer service experience
• Proficiency in Windows PC applications and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, etc.)
• Typing speed of 35-40 words per minute
• Ability to reside in Cuyahoga Falls, OH
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday with flexibility for 8-hour shifts between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of related medical office or medical assistant experience
• Experience in a high-volume call center or medical facility setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology
