About the role
Responsibilities
- Room patients, collect health information, and take vitals
- Support providers by reviewing schedules and capturing patient context
- Monitor patient flow and coordinate clinic movement
- Support lab and imaging workflows, including order entry and pharmacy updates
- Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection
- Prepare, clean, and restock exam rooms and manage clinical supplies
- Capture patient preferences to support individualized care
Requirements
- Medical Assistant certification or completion of a training program
- Experience in a clinical, ambulatory, or primary care setting
- Phlebotomy experience
- Experience taking and documenting vitals
- Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality
- Ability to work Monday-Friday shifts and rotating Saturdays
- Authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in women’s health, gynecology, or dermatology
- Experience supporting LGBTQ+ or diverse patient populations
- Experience with DrChrono, TiaMD, or similar EMR systems
- Experience with autoclaving and clinical inventory management
