Medical Assistant

Responsibilities

• Room patients, collect health information, and take vitals
• Support providers by reviewing schedules and capturing patient context
• Monitor patient flow and coordinate clinic movement
• Support lab and imaging workflows, including order entry and pharmacy updates
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection
• Prepare, clean, and restock exam rooms and manage clinical supplies
• Capture patient preferences to support individualized care

Requirements

• Medical Assistant certification or completion of a training program
• Experience in a clinical, ambulatory, or primary care setting
• Phlebotomy experience
• Experience taking and documenting vitals
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality
• Ability to work Monday-Friday shifts and rotating Saturdays
• Authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in women’s health, gynecology, or dermatology
• Experience supporting LGBTQ+ or diverse patient populations
• Experience with DrChrono, TiaMD, or similar EMR systems
• Experience with autoclaving and clinical inventory management
