Medical Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide welcoming care to patients as the first step in their treatment process
• Determine the nature of patient visits and obtain vital signs
• Maintain thorough, concise, and accurate chart documentation
• Ensure a clean and organized environment for both patients and staff
• Support the medical team in a fast-paced, vibrant clinical atmosphere

Requirements

• Current Medical Assistant Certificate (CNA certification is not accepted)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work with diverse populations and people from all walks of life
• Must obtain or complete certification within 6 months of hire if not already certified

Preferred Qualifications

• Successful completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program (minimum 6 months)
• Previous experience working in a healthcare setting
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
