About the role

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain study documents, including source charts, study binders, and regulatory binders
  • Schedule and confirm participant appointments and ancillary visits
  • Support compliance with FDA, Sponsor, IRB, and Good Clinical Practice guidelines
  • Assist with participant recruitment and prescreening electronic medical records
  • Conduct study-related procedures such as vital signs, ECGs, and questionnaires
  • Perform blood draws and process biological samples according to protocol
  • Maintain laboratory supplies, equipment, and temperature logs
  • Enter and verify study data in Electronic Data Capture and Clinical Trial Management Systems
  • Support Clinical Research Coordinators with administrative tasks and document management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, two years of college in a health program, or completion of a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomy/CNA program
  • Experience, certification, or license as a CNA, Medical Assistant, or Phlebotomist
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (written and oral)
  • Knowledge of ICH-GCP or relevant clinical research experience
  • Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use electronic medical records and clinical databases

Preferred Qualifications

  • Phlebotomy training and experience
  • Experience with medical terminology and laboratory procedures
