About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality healthcare services to residents, including assessing somatic conditions and monitoring vital signs
  • Administer medications and injections (IM, subcutaneous) within the scope of practice
  • Perform clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, blood draws, TB testing, ear lavage, and aseptic wound care
  • Conduct health education classes and teach clients regarding self-administration of medications and disease prevention
  • Document observations of behaviors, physical symptoms, and treatment progress in resident files
  • Assist with clinic setup, telehealth coordination, and maintaining medical supplies and inventory
  • Support the Behavioral Health Division through administrative and supervisory tasks

Requirements

  • GED or High School Diploma
  • Washington State Medical Assistant Certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a behavioral health or rehabilitation setting
  • At least 6 months of experience as a medical assistant in a residential setting
