About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality healthcare services to residents, including assessing somatic conditions and monitoring vital signs
  • Administer medications to clients within scope of practice in accordance with state regulations
  • Support the Behavioral Health Division by performing administrative and clinical tasks
  • Assist with clinic setup, telehealth clinics, and physician clinical duties
  • Conduct health education classes and teach clients on topics such as medication self-administration and nutrition
  • Perform clinical procedures including phlebotomy, IM/subcutaneous injections, TB testing, and wound care
  • Maintain accurate written documentation of observations, medication delivery, and treatment progress
  • Manage medical supplies, including stocking, inventory, and ordering

Requirements

  • GED or High School Diploma
  • Washington State Medical Assistant Certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a behavioral health or rehabilitation setting
  • At least 6 months of experience as a medical assistant in a residential setting
