Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient patient flow by rooming patients and assisting providers with scheduling.
• Deliver an exceptional patient experience by preparing patients for provider visits.
• Obtain vital signs, record chief complaints, and review medications.
• Perform patient screenings, waived laboratory testing, and routine diagnostic procedures such as EKGs, ABI, and spirometry.
• Maintain exam rooms by ordering supplies, performing quality control checks, and ensuring infection control measures are met.
• Provide telephonic support and assist with home-based support for high-risk members under clinical direction.
• Support the care team with medical record management and EMR documentation.

Requirements

• Medical Assistant certification or registration.
• CPR Certification.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• 2+ years of experience working with geriatric patients.
• Strong communication skills and a customer service orientation.
• Ability to work onsite in Midwest City, OK.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a Medical Assistant role.
• Phlebotomy Technician Certification.
• Experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Experience with home-based patient support.
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other community languages.
