About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage efficient patient flow and assist with direct patient care
- Record vital signs for all visiting patients
- Ensure accurate medical documentation for all office visits
- Conduct exams and perform various in-office clinical procedures
- Assist in scheduling medical procedures with the hospital
- Provide patient and family education as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric care
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
- Experience managing the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program
- Basic knowledge of lab testing procedures
- Proficiency in computer use and medical documentation
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work effectively within a medical team
