Medical Assistant

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with intake and preparation for provider visits
• Administer prescribed treatments, including allergy/immunotherapy injections
• Educate patients and families on immunotherapy protocols and safety
• Monitor and document vital signs and treatment responses
• Assist with skin testing, patch testing, and pulmonary function testing
• Maintain clean, stocked exam and injection rooms
• Document patient vitals and test results in the EHR
• Perform routine equipment sterilization and ensure HIPAA/OSHA compliance

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1–3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting
• Active MA certification in the state of Arizona
• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Proficiency in pulmonary function testing and peak flow monitoring

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with EHR systems
• Experience in allergy or immunology specialty
