Medical Assistant (MFA) Gastroenterology

Responsibilities

• Accompany endoscopy procedures including preparation and assistance for gastroscopies and colonoscopies
• Support sedation processes and monitor vital signs according to S3 guidelines
• Organize outpatient clinic operations including registration, appointment management, and patient flow
• Implement hygiene standards and prepare medical instruments and materials
• Maintain medical documentation in practice software and support billing (EBM/GOÄ)

Requirements

• Completed training as a Medical Assistant (MFA) or Nursing Assistant
• S3 sedation certification or willingness to acquire it
• Proficiency in medical practice software and IT systems
• Strong communication skills and service orientation
• Reliable, organized, and team-oriented work style
