Medical Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient visits, wellness consultations, and treatment procedures
• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection for laboratory testing
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and patient information
• Assist with IV therapy preparation, administration support, and patient monitoring
• Conduct body composition scans and wellness assessments
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system
• Maintain exam rooms, treatment areas, and clinical supplies according to standards
• Deliver exceptional customer service to create a welcoming patient experience
• Support clinic efficiency through administrative and operational tasks

Requirements

• Proven experience performing venipuncture and blood draws
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Experience with EMR systems
• Background in wellness, functional medicine, aesthetics, or concierge medicine
