Medical Assistant Instructor

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter instruction to students in classroom or lab settings
• Assist in developing curriculum, preparing course materials, and class scheduling
• Maintain neat and orderly classrooms and labs
• Establish and maintain academic and attendance records for student files
• Submit attendance, grades, and student evaluations to supervisors
• Utilize proven retention techniques to assist students
• Complete performance-based teacher education modules
• Assist with department equipment and supplies inventory

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years related practical work experience in medical assisting
• RMA, CCMA, or CMA certification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, compliance-oriented environment
