About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain study documents, including source charts, study binders, and regulatory binders
- Schedule and confirm subject appointments and ancillary visits
- Assist in participant recruitment through EMR prescreening and outreach
- Provide subject care, including explaining procedures and monitoring compliance
- Conduct study procedures such as vital signs, ECGs, and questionnaires
- Perform phlebotomy and process biological samples
- Enter and verify study data in EDC and CTMS databases
- Maintain laboratory equipment and temperature control systems
- Support clinical research coordinators with administrative tasks and document management
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in clinical research or healthcare
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EDC systems
- Ability to perform blood draws and specimen processing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding of HIPAA, FDA, GCP, and ICH guidelines preferred
- BLS/CPR, CNA, or CMA certification preferred
