About the role
Responsibilities
- Greet and room patients, ensuring appropriate patient flow
- Update patient's medical chart with accurate and timely documentation
- Manage phone triage and take appropriate action under the direction of the provider
- Administer treatments and procedures in accordance with physician's orders
- Provide patient education and personal care to ensure comfort and well-being
- Process prescription refills following clinic protocol under provider direction
- Follow safety procedures in compliance with OSHA and state health department guidelines
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 2+ years experience as a medical assistant
- Medical terminology knowledge

- AAMA certification
