Medical Assistant

Responsibilities

• Perform routine clinical skills including taking vital signs, weight, and height
• Assist with medical procedures as needed within the Neurology Clinic
• Manage patient documentation in EPIC to ensure timely encounter closure
• Oversee patient flow, chaperoning, and room stocking
• Order necessary tests and medical supplies
• Perform appropriate services as delegated by RNs, nurse practitioners, or physicians
• Coordinate with other department personnel to maintain quality customer service

Requirements

• High School Diploma (HSD) or GED
• Completion of a formal Medical Assisting program
• Ability to obtain CPR certification within 2 weeks of start date
• Ability to work at multiple locations as required
